I appreciate your visiting our home page from the bottom of my heart. Fukuoka Talc Co,. was established in 1959 as a manufacturer of talc powder such as carrier for agricultural chemical and filler for paper, and developed a talc mine.
With the development of the techniques in making paper and printing,customers' demand for high quality talc has rapidly increased.
Facing such a situation, we met the customer's demand by importing high quality talc ore in the early stage, and gradually developed to have large share of talc products for paper and paint in western district in Japan.
We will continue to strive for further improvement , research and development of talc products quality for not only paper, paint, chemical, ceramic, fine chemical, but also new needs from the customers.
In December 2010, we attained the management system certification of ISO9001.
On this occasion we make sure that we will make more efforts in order to get strong trust from the customers and society.

| April, 1959 | Nishiyama industry Co. was founded in 1959 at keisen Town , Kaho province, Fukuoka prefecture. dealing with talc powder products. |
| January 1960 | Fukuoka Factory was built at Chikuho town and started production and sales of talc goods. |
| January 1962 | The name of the company was changed from Nishiyama Industry Co. to Fukuoka Talc Co. |
| September 1965 | Presented an award by Fukuoka labor standers supervision office. |
| January 1967 | Fukuoka Talc Co. was changed to incorporated Fukuoka Talc Co,. Ltd. |
| February 1972 | Started importation of talc ore from the people's Republic of China. |
| July 1976 | New Fukuoka Factory with large scale modern equipment including Ishii leymond Factory 56 type and micron Factory 502 type, was established and the opning ceremony was held. |
